Would you like to know more about the catering field, whilst supporting people with disabilities access a day service? The Iona Resource Centre is requiring a CE General Assistant to assist the Chef and Kitchen Assistant in the canteen within its day service. Our service users love socialising within the canteen whilst having a good cuppa and freshly made dinner at lunch time. Duties will include (Training will be provided): Undertaking lunch service in the canteen Assisting the chef and kitchen assistant in the safe running of the canteen (adhering to HACCP and FASI guidelines) Providing sight guide support Socialising and engaging with service users when they are in service. Opportunity to work towards QQI and/or Industry Standard qualifications. The ideal candidate will have: Caring nature & enjoy supporting and assisting people The ability to work as part of a team. A willingness to engage in training and complete HACCP Qualification. Driving licence preferred. CE Scheme Skills
