Job SummaryThis is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Positions Designated as DoD Sexual Assault Program Workforce Positions to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This vacancy will be used for SHARP recruitment; Main duty location is Poznan, Poland - physical work will be performed in Zagan or Powidz, Poland. This is a 24 month Unaccompanied Tour assignment

QualificationsWho May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Basic Requirement for Supervisory Sexual Assault Response Coordinator: A. Degree: Bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in behavioral or social science, or related disciplines appropriate to the position, such as Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, etc. OR B. Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. OR C. Experience: Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing professional advocacy services to victims or survivors of sexual assault/sexual harassment; collaborating with military or civilian resources to coordinate victim care; guiding staff or subordinates on case management functions to include victim needs assessments, reporting options, support resources, or interpretation policy/guidance; and conducting training or providing community education on sexual assault/sexual harassment prevention and resources. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS- 11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

Major DutiesSupervise SHARP Victim Advocates and execute the program's strategic guidance and policies, acting as the installation's primary response coordinator.Identify developmental and training needs of employees.Provide guidance to Victim Advocates on SHARP program requirements, to include application of best practices, case management processes, mandatory safety protocols, confidentiality and informed consent standards, etc.Manage the processing of all reports or complaints, informing victims of the resources available to include reporting of sexual harassment and sexual assault, retaliation, reprisal, etc.Ensure the effectiveness of the SHARP Program by establishing a process for data accuracy and compliance for all reports/complaints.Provides training and technical assistance to SHARP Professionals, Commanders, First Responders, and others.Provide expert consultation to interdisciplinary partners.Ensure effective interagency collaboration with law enforcement, legal, medical, and other support agencies to maintain coordinated response and full policy compliance.
