Find out more about us on https://ams-osram.com Your new responsibilities Process Optimization : Establish, optimize, and maintain molding processes to improve yield, quality, and productivity. Technical Troubleshooting : Investigate and resolve and troubleshoot molding related issues through data analysis and root cause investigation. Maverick Lot assessment : Perform risk assessments and make disposition decisions for abnormal or on-hold lots prior to shipment. Process Control & Documentation : Develop and maintain process control documentation, including FMEA, Control Plans, Work Instructions and all relevant documentation is accurate and up to date. Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with production, product, quality, and equipment teams to support operational goals and ensure smooth production flow. Training & Audit Support : Provide technical training and guidance to operators and technicians. Suppport internal and customer quality system audits. Process Analysis and Yield Improvement : Lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to eliminate recurring process defects. Yield Improvement: Drive manufacturing excellence through process innovation, defect reduction, and yield improvement. Project / Process Improvement : Initiate new and monitor process performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives. What we look for Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials Engineering, or related engineering field. Minimum 4-5 years of experience in semiconductor molding or related back-end manufacturing processes. Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of molding processes, molding materials, process optimization, and troubleshooting techniques. Equipment Expertise: Experience with Fico/Towa molding machines is an added advantage. Self-motivated with strong ownership, accountability, and ability to lead improvement projects independently. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, able to lead root cause analysis and implement effective solutions. Familiar with process control tools and techniques (e.g., 8D, DOE, Minitab, etc). Experience with systems such as SPC, SPACE, FMEA, or equivalent is an advantage. Fluent in Malay and English language. Good written and verbal communication skills, able to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
