About this role

We have a fantastic role currently vacant for a Special Task Coordinator – Main Component to work within the booming renewable energy industry in Australia, specifically within the wind domain. Service Operations Support is part of the service operations team that operates and maintains a large number of Turbine Wind Farms across Australia and New Zealand. As a Special Task Coordinator, you have an essential task to technically plan and schedule Gearbox, Generator, Transformer, Main and Blade Bearing replacements across the ANZ portfolio and coordinate the execution of works with the local service team. As Special Task Coordinator, you need to cooperate with internal and external stakeholders ensuring the efficient delivery of main component replacements. This role can be undertaken by someone based close to one of our regional wind farms, or our office in Melbourne. Responsibilities Technically plan Main Component exchange work orders (e.g. gearbox, blade bearings, transformers) Define and acquire all required materials, tools, services and resources and CIM execution prerequisites) Reassign a work order to Technical Support Engineers if advanced planning is required Liaise with internal departments to ensure correct field execution Align and define work content and schedules with external partners and subcontractors Take customer-specific clauses into consideration when planning Schedule service appointments for main components turbine visits Create purchase requisitions and ensure parts, materials and tools are available prior job execution Assign service appointments to crews by managing service team composition in the short term and collaboration with local schedulers.
