• Pay Rate: $38.00 per hour • Per Diem: $166 per day ($1,162 weekly) • Hours: 50-60 hours per week • Location: Grantsburg, Wisconsin • Shifts Available: • 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM • 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM • Monday through Friday
Key Responsibilities
• Set up, operate, and optimize CNC lathes, CNC mills, and machining centers to manufacture precision components according to established production requirements. • Operate and maintain CNC machines to produce parts in accordance with print specifications and customer requirements. • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, CAD/CAM programs, work instructions, and technical documentation. • Perform complete machine setups from start to finish utilizing blueprints and/or CAM programs. • Select, install, and adjust tooling, machine offsets, speeds, feeds, and machining parameters. • Perform tooling changes, offset adjustments, and equipment calibrations as required. • Edit and modify machine programs at the machine utilizing G&M codes. • Utilize precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other inspection equipment to verify dimensional accuracy and part conformity. • Conduct first-article, first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and engineering specifications. • Monitor machine run conditions and performance throughout production runs and make adjustments as needed to maintain production efficiency and product quality. • Troubleshoot machining processes, tooling concerns, equipment malfunctions, and production issues to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency. • Perform routine and preventative maintenance to ensure machinery remains in proper working condition. • Accurately maintain production records, inspection reports, quality documentation, and manufacturing data. • Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, operational procedures, and 5S manufacturing practices.
