Job Title: Industrial Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionThe Industrial Maintenance Technician troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains industrial electrical and mechanical systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production equipment. This role focuses on diagnosing issues with PLCs and HMIs, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting the installation and modification of mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical controls, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), three-phase and single-phase circuits, relays, switches, power supplies, drives, gauges, and test equipment. • Navigate, diagnose, and troubleshoot human-machine interfaces (HMIs) to identify and resolve equipment issues. • Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical machinery and electrical systems to reduce downtime and extend equipment life. • Assist with the installation, modification, and upgrade of mechanical and electrical systems to support production needs. • Use precision tools such as micrometers, multimeters, indicators, and voltage testers to inspect, test, and verify equipment performance. • Troubleshoot and repair electrical components, sensors, AC/DC drives and motors, and servo drives. • Diagnose and repair programmable logic controls (PLCs) using ladder logic and other diagnostic tools. Essential Skills
• 5+ years of experience related to the repair of industrial electrical and mechanical systems. • Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and ladder logic for diagnosing and resolving control system issues. • Extensive electrical knowledge ranging from 110 to 480 volts of power, including three-phase systems. • Strong background using precision tools such as micrometers, multimeters, indicators, and voltage testers. • Experience working with electrical components, sensors, AC/DC drives and motors, and servo drives. • Ability to troubleshoot and repair programmable logic controls (PLCs). • Strong troubleshooting skills with both electrical and mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment. • Ability to complete work orders and communicate findings clearly via written, verbal, or computer documentation. Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a primarily climate-controlled manufacturing facility. You will work in a production environment around industrial machinery and equipment. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reidsville, NC. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
