Looking for a helping hand for a young family! We are looking for a lovely female volunteer for an English mother with two young daughters. The girls' father is away from home for long days for work, so the mother is largely on her own. And with two children aged two and one, that is quite a challenge! - The mother is primarily looking for someone willing to help her in and around the house. Someone who keeps the children occupied occasionally so that the mother can get around to daily chores. Or someone who enjoys lending a hand with this, for example by folding laundry together. - Someone willing to go out occasionally so that things become just a little easier with two young children and the mother doesn't get overwhelmed. - And someone who might enjoy helping the mother expand her network in the Netherlands. The mother had a large social network in England but finds it difficult to build new contacts in the Netherlands. Does this sound exciting to you? Then we are looking for you! At Samen Oplopen, we connect volunteers with families in Gouda who could use a helping hand for a variety of reasons. As a volunteer, you walk alongside a family for an extended period and help them on their way. You are supported in this by a coordinator who remains involved in the background.
