Job Description Work Environment: - Hybrid - from Gdańsk, 3 days from the office Skills & Qualifications: - Strong experience as DBA / PostgreSQL Database Administrator - Experience in monitoring, managing and maintaining mission-critical 24*7 mission critical databases. - Good understanding of PostgreSQL Architecture. - Experience with Installation/Configuration/Administration PostgreSQL on Linux/Windows machines. - Experience with implementing high-availability solutions. - Experience in Installation /configuration of Replication, Connection pooling etc. - Expert in Backup & Recovery including PG dump, setting up WAL archiving. - Experience on PostgreSQL minor/major version upgrade. Nice to have: - MySQL - Mongo dB - MSSQL - Oracle (at least one technology) Key Responsibilities: - Understanding operational requirements including Hardware, Architecture, configuration, Integration and maintaining mission critical production PostgreSQL databases. - Replication using various methods like streaming, cascading and logical. - HA solution of EDB PostgreSQL using EFM and Load balancer. - Responsible for all Logical and Physical backup & Recovery even PITR recovery. - Connection ...
