- High Tea - Castle beer - Gift voucher - Snack box Limbricht Castle Estate As a kitchen porter you are a crucial part of our team and you ensure that the crockery, cutlery and cookware are always clean and ready for use. You work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same and you get the opportunity to contribute to a pleasant experience for our guests. What are you going to do? As a kitchen porter, you are responsible for cleaning various equipment and keeping your workspace tidy, so that front-of-house and the kitchen can continue without hindrance in the hustle and bustle of the day. The main tasks and responsibilities include: - Clearing and sorting dirty crockery, cutlery and glassware - Removal of dirt and food residue - Load crockery, cutlery and glassware into the dishwasher using the designated racks. - If necessary, dry and polish washed items - Sorting and storing clean crockery, cutlery and glassware - Cleaning of workspace and kitchen equipment What is expected of you? We are looking for someone who is keen to get stuck in. We are happy to show you the ropes, so experience is not required. You are mainly available in the evenings and at the weekends. Working days and hours will be determined in consultation. What do we offer you? We offer you employment of between 18-24 hours per week; we will determine the fixed number of hours per week in consultation. The salary and other terms of employment are in accordance with the catering industry collective labour agreement (horeca CAO) and suited to your age and work experience. A permanent employment contract is among the possibilities in due course.
