About this role
As a line coach, you make sure that the production line runs well. You lead the employees on the line and help them with their work. You make sure everyone knows what needs to be done. You check if production is going according to the schedule. You also check the quality of the products. You perform different quality checks, such as checking the weight, filling level and packaging of the products. You work with different machines. You set up the machines for filling, closing, coding, labelling and packing products. You solve small technical problems yourself when possible. You report bigger problems to the technical department. Safety and hygiene are also very important in this job. You make sure employees work safely and use the correct protective equipment. You also make sure the workplace and machines stay clean. You work closely with the team leader, production manager and other colleagues. You keep an overview of the production process and take action when needed. Together with the team, you make sure production is safe, efficient and meets the required quality. - You have experience in a production environment, for example as a machine operator. - You have technical skills and experience working with machines. - You have experience guiding or leading colleagues. - You work accurately and understand the importance of quality, safety and hygiene. - You can work independently, communicate well and keep an overview.
