Every day, thousands of quality Asian products are delivered to customers across the Netherlands and Belgium. In this role, you will work fixed evening shifts, receive a 20% cold allowance and play an essential part in preparing customer orders for shipment as a freezer logistics employee. You will join a close-knit team, have varied tasks and need to be able to handle the cold well! You can earn up to €16 per hour at a major wholesaler in Amsterdam. About the function As a freezer logistics employee, you start your shift with your colleagues in the warehouse. You make sure customer orders are collected accurately, checked and prepared for shipment in the freezer. Using a handheld scanner, you pick ambient, chilled and frozen products. You load and unload goods, replenish picking locations and keep the warehouse tidy. You will also check returned transport equipment and occasionally join the truck as a driver's mate. You work according to strict quality and food safety rules. The temperature in the freezer is -28 degrees, so you need to be physically able to work in these conditions and handle the cold well.
