Key responsibilities - Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing. - Identify, document, and track defects; verify fixes and perform root-cause analysis with cross-functional teams. - Define and monitor quality metrics; report test results, risks, and release readiness. - Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Support to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria. - Improve QA processes, standards, and documentation; contribute to continuous improvement and preventive actions. - Support audits and compliance needs by maintaining traceability and quality records where required. Required skills and qualifications - Experience in manual and/or automated testing across web, mobile, or API-based systems. - Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC/STLC, defect lifecycle, and test documentation. - Ability to write clear bug reports and communicate priorities, risks, and outcomes. - Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail) and version control basics. - Analytical problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.
