In this role, you will help produce bespoke products such as steel doors, walls and staircases. You will set up the machine correctly, check the drawings and ensure that every component is cut with precision. You will work alongside colleagues in production and ensure they have the correct components to carry on with their work. No two days are exactly the same, as every project is different. Vacancy information - € 3500 - 40-hour contract - With immediate effect - Laser cutter Steellife uses a laser cutter What are you going to do? - Setting up and operating the laser cutting machine - Cutting steel components according to technical drawings - Checking the correct materials and programmes - Measure and check cut parts - Recognising minor faults and resolving them where possible - Getting materials ready and disposing of parts neatly - Maintaining a safe and tidy workplace - Consulting with the work preparation department and your colleagues in production What are we looking for? - Experience with laser cutting, CNC machines or metalworking is a plus - You can read technical drawings or want to learn this - You have technical acumen - You work meticulously and check your own work - You can work independently - You speak and read Dutch - You are available full-time You are: - Practical and technically minded - Accurate and quality-driven - Responsible in the use of machinery - Not afraid to roll up your sleeves - A great colleague who works well with others - Willing to learn new things Your benefits at Steellife: - Personal and professional growth: We encourage your development - Possible 13th month: Extra financial bonus as part of the salary Are you the laser cutter operator we're looking for?
