Over deze vacature Machandel develops, produces and sells a wide range of organic and biodynamic products under both its own brand and private label. Since its founding as a Frisian family business in 1978, the company has grown to approximately 100 employees. In 2022, Machandel became fully owned by the English family business Windmill Organics, which already had a majority stake in Machandel in 2012. From its founding, Machandel has focused on tasty, healthy and honest products, based on sustainable relationships with its customers and suppliers. Over the years, Machandel has built up an extensive international customer base, mainly in several European countries. Machandel’s own brand is only available at health food stores and their private label products can be found at various (organic) supermarkets. For the further development and growth of Machandel, we are searching for a professional Area Sales Manager for the region DACH/Scandinavia with solid key account management and business development capabilities Position - Responsible for the customer relations and sales performance, with primary focus on the assigned region and possible expansion with other countries - Drawing up a regional sales plan with clear objectives for the coming years, in line with the strategy and annual company budgets - Maintaining and further utilizing the partnerships with key accounts and realising additional business with other existing and new clients - Negotiating business contracts about products, prices, delivery terms and other conditions - Developing custom-made solutions in collaboration with various clients for products, packaging formats and logistics services, in close cooperation with other functional disciplines - Monitoring and evaluating the customer performance and initiating improvements where and when needed - Collecting and sharing relevant information about customers, market trends and competitors, in order to stimulate new business de
