BOND PRECAIRE WOONVORMEN VACANCY - General Support Employee / Organizer The Precaire Housing Association is an activist grassroots association that focuses on helping people who live insecurely, temporarily, or (too) expensively. The BPW opposes the rise of precarious housing and fights for housing justice. In recent years, the BPW has grown strongly as an organization and that is why we are now looking for an employee to support the organization on a self-employed basis. The BPW is active in many areas regarding housing, standing up for the rights of tenants through direct action and mutual aid. As a membership organization, we focus on establishing local groups and solidarity networks throughout the Netherlands. We can organize actions to draw attention to the problem, but also organize residential consultation hours to help people directly. To fill this role, we are therefore looking for a pragmatic all-round employee with an activist heart and a desire to learn about the housing struggle. In the role of General Support Officer / Organizer, you will work actively with the BPW Content Coordinator and assist with organizational and administrative tasks. This includes administrative duties such as drafting minutes or organizing meetings, as well as practical tasks such as visiting local groups or attending campaigns. The BPW is constantly evolving, and you can be part of that evolution in your role. There is ample room for personal development, and your own input is encouraged.
