Expert by Experience Eating Disorder Meetings Share Expert by Experience Eating Disorder Meetings Get involved as a volunteer The Kiem Foundation works with experienced volunteers. They are committed to helping loved ones within the program by sharing their experiences with an eating disorder with others and thus supporting parents/caregivers of children with an eating disorder. You can volunteer as a parent/guardian of a child who has had an eating disorder. By sharing their experience, our volunteers offer recognition, recognition and hope and therefore really make a difference! We are very happy with these volunteers who work time and time again to minimize the impact of eating disorders. The Kiem Foundation is always looking for enthusiastic volunteers so that we can reach even more people with our programs. What does work at the Kiem Foundation entail? Our volunteers share their experience with an eating disorder during the live or online parent meetings First Aid for Eating Disorders. During this meeting, the volunteers, together with an experienced trainer, provide tips and ideas (not treatment) to parents who have a child with an eating disorder. It is very valuable for parents of a child with an eating disorder to hear from an expert that recovery is possible and how small daily steps can help. You can really make a difference as a volunteer at the Kiem Foundation! What do we offer our volunteers? The Kiem Foundation is a professional organization in which an enthusiastic and passionate team works every day to minimize the impact of eating disorders. Are you interested in working with us? We will then look at your personal preferences during an introductory meeting. You will receive training on how to make valuable use of your experience and you will participate in one or more series of EHBE parent meetings.
