Your Role As a Software (Emulation) Engineer, you will be involved in the full software development lifecycle. Working closely with colleagues from various disciplines, you will: - Design, develop, test and maintain emulation software and simulation models - Translate business requirements and abstract concepts into functional software solutions - Create digital representations of automated logistic systems and processes - Develop software that models transportation, sortation and storage equipment - Integrate communication with external systems, reporting tools and data analysis capabilities - Continuously improve software quality, performance and maintainability - Collaborate with international teams and stakeholders across Vanderlande One of the key challenges in this role is finding the right balance between realism and simplicity.
