Assembly Manager 20262835 - SALARY INDICATION In consultation - FUNCTION GROUP Engineering - JOB POSTING NUMBER 20262835 - LOCATION Valkenswaard ABOUT THIS JOB OPENING The Position Your role is to coordinate, manage, and improve the activities of the assembly department-not only in terms of the assembly process itself, but also in the areas of safety, quality, output, and hygiene. You are responsible for work planning and task allocation to ensure that work proceeds according to schedule. In addition, you translate company objectives into clear actions on the shop floor and actively involve employees in the organization of (production) processes and their further optimization. A key focus of the role is therefore coaching, motivating, inspiring, and developing employees to build support for working according to (new) agreements. In short, you are a people manager through and through. You will lead a team of production employees (approximately 25 people). Your duties and responsibilities include the following: Managing the daily assembly process and ensuring the organization, planning, coordination, and facilitation of optimal work execution; Reporting on and monitoring productivity, costs, and quality, among other things; Ensuring optimal utilization and effectiveness of production resources and further professionalizing these processes; Taking the initiative to improve quality and productivity; Maintaining contact with support departments and external parties; Supervising and ensuring workplace safety. We are looking for Completed (technical) MBO+ or HBO education; At least 2-4 years of managerial experience in a production environment; Knowledge of the mechanical engineering industry is a major plus; Proficiency in Dutch and English; Experience with implementing, defining, and improving assembly processes; Good knowledge of computer applications (including the WMS system); Strong communication skills and the abili...
