Job Summary GKN Aerospace is seeking a Configuration Management Engineer (Manufacturing Engineer) to join our Manufacturing Engineering team in Papendrecht, Netherlands. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring product configuration integrity throughout the entire product lifecycle within a highly regulated aerospace manufacturing environment. You will manage manufacturing data, product documentation, configuration control, and engineering change processes while supporting engineering, manufacturing, quality, and program teams. A key focus of the role will be driving data governance and systems integration across our digital landscape, including Windchill PLM, Infor LN ERP, and Opcenter MES, ensuring data accuracy, traceability, and alignment between engineering and manufacturing. You will also contribute to the development and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) through configuration and change management procedures, work instructions, and process improvements.
