Terminal Tractor & Warehouse Employee (various shifts) TVO-Team Job description (what you will do): As a Terminal Tractor & Warehouse Employee , you will have a varied combination role. Your work will mainly consist of moving trailers to and from the loading docks, parking trailers in the correct location on the premises, setting refrigeration units and checking the operation of tail lifts. In addition, you will work as a warehouse employee, assisting with loading and unloading trucks using a forklift or electric pallet truck (EPT). You will work in shifts , with varying working hours. Working in the evening is also part of the schedule. Your responsibilities include: - Moving trailers to and from the loading docks using a terminal tractor - Parking trailers in the correct location on the premises - Setting refrigeration units and checking the operation of tail lifts - Loading and unloading trucks in the warehouse using a forklift or EPT - Ensuring the correct and safe handling of goods flows on the premises and in the warehouse - Communicating with your direct supervisor or the planning department in case of any uncertainties - Alternating between working on the premises as a terminal tractor driver and in the warehouse as a warehouse employee - Working various shifts within the shift schedule, including evening hours - Overtime may be required on busy days Requirements (what you bring): - Experience in a similar position - You are motivated and have a hands-on mentality - You are flexible, independent and trustworthy - In possession of a T driving licence and, preferably, a forklift certificate - You speak English and preferably Dutch as well - You are willing to work shifts and varying working hours - You enjoy working both on the premises and in the warehouse - You will join a great team within a financially healthy company, with appropriate salary conditions in accordance with the TLN Collective Labour Agreement (CAO) We of...
