Because at Lam, we believe that when people are the priority and they re inspired to unleash the power of innovation for a better world together, anything is possible. 1 Engineering Technician (all genders) LOCATION: Villach, AT, 9500 REQ ID: 203444 WHAT YOU WILL DO * Perform testing, check-out, and troubleshooting using schematics, diagrams, descriptions, layouts, or defined plans. * Tests and troubleshoots system level and component level problems in electrical and mechanical systems and sub-systems. * Inspect materials, components, or products for surface defects and measure circuitry, using electronic test equipment, precision measuring instruments, microscope, and standard procedures. * Conduct operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment, help in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. * Support the design, construction, test, and check-out of test equipment. * Use test and diagnostic equipment, including test programs, oscilloscopes, signal generators and specialized test apparatus. * Collaborates with development engineers conducting engineering tests to collect design data or support in research efforts. Preferred qualifications: * Associates degree, Technical Certificate, Diploma or higher in a technical field. * Experience in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, bioengineering, metrology, lab operations, or related areas. * Experience in semiconductor experience is a plus. WHAT WE ARE OFFERING This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry in occupation group E. A higher payment is negotiable depending on education, expertise and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
