Main duties of the job As a qualified Nurse (RMN, RNLD, RGN), you will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality care to individuals with learning disabilities or autism at Spring House, Exeter. Your responsibilities include delivering compassionate nursing care, conducting assessments, planning, and implementing care plans, and maintaining accurate records. You'll provide mentorship to team members and report any changes observed in service users. What you will be doing
As a qualified Nurse (RMN, RNLD, RGN), you will ensure people with a learning disability or autism receive high-quality care, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting positive teamwork.
The wards are busy, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, and a good amount of routine and variety. Your day-to-day will include:
Providing high-quality, effective and compassionate nursing care to service users Being responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care Providing mentorship and support to team members Observing, recording and reporting all service user changes, and maintaining accurate records of care provided Skills and knowledge you will have

Location: Spring House, Matford Road, Exeter, EX2 4PD.
Spring House is a new 6 bed home with individual apartments for people with a learning disability or autism, who are stepping down from a hospital service and is ready to transition into the community for more independent living. This new service will open in March 2021

Qualifications Essential
A relevant nursing qualification along with NMC registration is required. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess strong teamwork skills, high self-motivation, a flexible approach, and a positive attitude while being naturally caring and compassionate.
