A... 1 Head of Transformer Factory Linz How You'll Make an Impact * Take overall leadership responsibility for the Power Transformers operations in Linz, including Order Management, Manufacturing, Testing, Logistics and Quality Management. * Provide indirect leadership across key local cluster functions including Factory Loading & Operational Excellence, Offer Management, Offer & Order Engineering and Procurement. * Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their requirements and ensuring consistently high levels of customer satisfaction. * Strengthen international collaboration across the MPT cluster, particularly with the sister factories in Dresden, Germany and Trento, Italy, leveraging the global manufacturing footprint to capture market opportunities. * Drive the continuous development and optimization of state-of-the-art manufacturing processes and quality methodologies. * Implement cross-factory processes in partnership with the wider cluster and identify opportunities to create synergies and share best practices across the organization. * Deliver sustainable improvements in process and cost efficiency, productivity, LEAN performance and quality leadership. * Lead and support transformation initiatives, including digital transformation, automation and the continued development of best-in-class manufacturing capabilities. * Take a central leadership role in Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) as the site's legally responsible Managing Director (gewerberechtlicher Geschäftsführer) and VBAS. * Establish trusted and constructive relationships with the wider cluster, other factories, leadership teams, Finance and the Works Council. * Create a high-performance culture that combines operational discipline with collaboration, continuous improvement and a strong focus on customers. What You'll Bring * A successfully completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable discipline. * Extensive leadership experience as a Plant Manager, Manufacturing Manager or equivalent senior operations leader, or significant leadership responsibility across at least two areas such as Engineering, Procurement, Planning, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management or Project Management. * Strong experience within an Engineering-to-Order (ETO) business and an understanding of the operational complexity associated with highly engineered products. * A proven track record of building, developing and leading best-in-class manufacturing operations. * Demonstrable experience working directly with customers, identifying their needs and translating these into operational priorities and solutions. * Experience initiating and leading significant change and transformation programs, particularly within digital transformation and manufacturing automation. * Deep knowledge of LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies, combined with practical experience successfully applying them within manufacturing environments. * Strong operational and process-oriented business understanding, together with the ability to balance quality, productivity, cost, delivery and customer requirements. * Strategic foresight and an entrepreneurial mindset, combined with a collaborative leadership style, resilience and the ability to operate effectively in a complex environment. * Experience working across international and multicultural organizations, with the ability to collaborate and influence successfully across different countries and functions. * Business-fluent German and English, with the communication and stakeholder-management skills required to operate confidently at senior leadership level. https://jobs.siemens-energy.com/de_DE/jobs/FolderDetail/Head-of-Transformer-Factory-Linz/301945 .
