Job Title : Chef de Partie ( Catering) Employer : Dara Traders Limited Location: Unit 6, Tuansgate Development, Belgard Square, Tallaght, Dublin 24 Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours of Work: 39 hours per week (rostered, includes evenings/weekends as required) Your Annual Remuneration: €36605 Weekly Salary: €703.94 Hourly Rate: €18.05 Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at Payasam (Dara Traders Limited). The successful candidate will support daily food preparation and service, maintain high standards of quality and hygiene, and work collaboratively with the kitchen team in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities – Chef de Partie (Catering) • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes, menus, portion sizes, and presentation standards. • Take responsibility for an assigned kitchen section and ensure efficient preparation and service. • Prepare food for catering functions, events, and daily food service requirements. • Ensure all food is prepared and served safely and within required timeframes. • Maintain consistent standards of taste, quality, portion control, and presentation. • Comply with HACCP, food safety, hygiene, allergen, and health & safety procedures at all times. • Assist with menu preparation, mise en place, and planning of daily production requirements. • Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and ensure ingredients are correctly stored, dated, labelled, and rotated. • Minimise food waste through effective portion control and appropriate use and storage of ingredients. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen, including cleaning and sanitising workstations and equipment. Requirements • Minimum 2 years of relevant professional kitchen experience, ideally as a Chef de Partie, Commis Chef, or in a similar position. • Ability to prepare food consistently to required quality and presentation standards. • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet catering/service deadlines. • Strong teamwork, organisation, time management, and attention to detail. • Flexibility to work rostered shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays where required. Desirable • Experience preparing Indian and South Indian cuisine, including authentic regional dishes. • Experience in a high-volume catering or similar professional kitchen environment. • Food Safety/HACCP certification or willingness to complete the required training.
