About this role
Responsibilities Contribute to the full development cycle of web-based applications including design and integration. Develop and expand microservices and distributed applications within a specialized digital ecosystem. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary agile team to ensure high-quality software delivery. Take responsibility for the performance, scalability, and maintainability of developed solutions. Perform coding, testing, and debugging tasks with a focus on high-quality code standards. Support the integration of innovative technologies and AI models into existing applications. Requirements 5+ years of experience in the development of web-based applications. Experience with backend development using Node.js and JavaScript . Experience with frontend development using React and CSS . Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational database systems ( RDMS ). Experience with Microservices and distributed application architecture. Experience with RabbitMQ for messaging and integration. Experience with containerization using Docker . You are proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of taking technical responsibility for architectural decisions. You are fluent in Dutch with a C2 level of proficiency. Nice to Haves Experience leading a development team or coaching other developers. Knowledge of AI and Machine Learning models including LLMs (e.g., GPT , Claude , LLaMA ) or VLMs . Experience with Vector databases , Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) , and prompt engineering . Knowledge of Elixir or Redis . Experience with Scrum and Agile development methodologies in a leading capacity.
