Dermatologist Cumbria and Lancashire Full-time or part-time roles available Self-employed contracts also available Competitive salary/package, dependent on experience
We are seeking a committed Dermatologist to participate in our outpatient clinics across Cumbria and Lancashire to will undertake dermatological diagnostic and surgical procedures as well as autonomous prescribing for patients in a community clinic.
Clinic Locations available
East Lancashire Blackburn with Darwen Morecambe Bay, Chorley Greater Preston Blackpool Fylde & Wyre West Lancashire
Main duties of the job
Key Duties
Conduct clinical triage for dermatology referrals and provide thorough assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and advice for both acute and chronic dermatological conditions. Perform minor surgeries, including excision of low-risk basal cell carcinoma, following national guidelines. Conduct audits of clinical standards and contribute to clinical leadership. Provide comprehensive, systematic patient assessments, including consideration of lifestyle impacts. Participate in tele-dermatology clinics to review patient images and establish appropriate care pathways. Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high-quality patient care.
