Job summary
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Community Nursery Nurse to join our service.
Our teams are fullyintegrated consisting of Health Visitors, School Nurses, Community Staff nurses, Clinical Support Workers, Community Nursery Nurses and Administrators.
Main duties of the job
You will work with families using a variety of interventions within the family home, health clinic, schools and family hubs.
You will complete Ages and Stages health reviews reviews at key stages of life toidentify early intervention.
You will promote health and wellbeing.

Job description Job responsibilities
You will work with families to help them feel more confident and supported in their daily lives. Youwill workwith partner agencies to deliver local serviceswithin Barking and Dagenham. You will help our community stay healthy by working in the friendly and professional way that NELFT and Barnardo's expect. You will have completed a Childcare qualification or gained experience of working with families or early years settings. You are confident to travel around in Barking and Dagenham as requested by your team.
Person Specification
Skills Essential
Able to listen to and communicate effectively with children and young people. Able to work as part of a team. Able to accurately and clearly record case notes deploying the necessary standard of writing and IT skills. Able to apply Barnardos safeguarding and child protection procedures.
Experience Essential
Some experience of work with children and young people but this does not have to have been gained in a formal employment setting.
