About this role

We are looking for a results-driven Operations Leader to own and scale Amazon's Dark Store network in Brazil. This role is critical to building the operational foundation that will support the rapid expansion of our Quick Commerce footprint across the country. The ideal candidate combines hands-on operational excellence with a strategic mindset to design scalable processes from the ground up. Key job responsibilities End-to-end operations leadership: Own daily operations, ensuring execution across all operational processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Inbound management: Oversee receiving workflows, ensuring accuracy in product intake, vendor compliance, and inventory reconciliation upon arrival. Outbound management: Lead picking, packing, and dispatch processes to meet delivery speed SLAs while maintaining order accuracy and quality standards. Inventory quality & accuracy: Implement and monitor stock quality controls — including cycle counts, expiration management, damage prevention, and shrinkage reduction — to guarantee inventory accuracy at all times. Process design & standardization: Define, document, and continuously refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that will serve as the operational blueprint for network-wide expansion across Brazil. Scalability & expansion readiness: Build repeatable, scalable operational frameworks designed to be deployed in new Dark Store locations with minimal ramp-up time, directly enabling Amazon Brasil's network growth strategy. Continuous improvement: Identify inefficiencies, implement Kaizen-driven improvements, and leverage data to optimize throughput, reduce defects, and improve cost-per-unit metrics. Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Supply Chain, Transportation, Technology, and Category teams to ensure seamless integration between upstream/downstream operations and the Dark Store. A day in the life You start your morning reviewing overnight performance metrics — order volume, cancellation rates, delivery times, and inventory accuracy — identifying any gaps before the team hits the floor. By mid-morning, you're walking the Dark Store, observing inbound receiving in action, coaching associates on stow accuracy, and troubleshooting bottlenecks in the pick-and-pack flow. After lunch, you're deep in data: analyzing defect trends, running root-cause sessions on quality misses, and refining SOPs that will be replicated across future sites. You close the day in cross-functional syncs with Supply Chain and Transportation, aligning on replenishment cadence and last-mile handoff improvements. No two days look the same, but every day you're building the operational playbook that will power Amazon Brazil's expansion.
