Job Description Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled, experienced, and dedicated hands-on HVAC Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across a variety of residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a TSSA G2 Gas Technician License, clean driving record, and strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on HVAC experience, with the ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship, safety, and customer service. 55,000 - 85,000$ per year depending on experience and qualifications. - training and vacation paid - future potential for health benefits and RRSP matching Responsibilities • Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, replace, and maintain HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, hydronic systems, and ventilation equipment. • Perform service calls, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs. • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements. • Perform HVAC-related pipe fitting, leak repairs, and other mechanical work as required. • Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system specifications. • Inspect HVAC equipment and components, including heating units, exhaust fans, ventilation systems, and related mechanical equipment. • Identify potential equipment issues and recommend preventative maintenance. • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with industry standards, manufacturer specifications, and applicable safety regulations. • Maintain accurate service records, repair reports, and activity logs. • Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, and team members. • Participate in meetings, training, workshops, and safety programs as required. • Requirements • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, hydronics, and ventilation. • TSSA G2 Gas Technician License: required • Knowledge of plumbing, pipe fitting, welding, and mechanical systems is an asset. • Ability to read and interpret HVAC schematics, technical diagrams, and blueprints. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Professional communication and customer-service skills. • Clean driving record required. • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to various job sites. • Ability to work in residential and commercial environments and perform physically demanding tasks when required. • Clean and organize job sites as required • ODP card TSSA G2 Gas Technician License: required Clean Driving Record: required
