Sahaara Therapy Services Ltd. is a community-based private therapy practice serving Calgary and surrounding areas. We work with families and their children (ages 2-18) to help them learn and implement individualized strategies and solutions to achieve their goals.
We are currently seeking an energetic Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with a passion for working with children to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work independently with children and families and make a meaningful impact to their lives. The SLP will be responsible for providing individualized pediatric services for children (ages 2 -18) with a range of abilities. Services will be provided in collaboration with families and caregivers in a variety of settings including in-home, school, virtual telehealth and in the community setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing direct service, consultation, assessment and education to children, family and supportive caregivers in the home and community. * Collaborating with families to set goals and priorities with targeted and measurable outcomes; * Working closely with parents and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team; * Maintaining and managing a caseload and ensuring all hour tracking, documentation, and filing is appropriately completed.
Qualifications:
* Master?s Degree in Speech Language Pathology * Registered and in good standing with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA); * Possesses professional liability insurance; * Valid driver?s license and access to a reliable mode of transportation * Vulnerable Sector police check * Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively build relationships with families.
