*We are looking for an experienced, people-focused, patient, Registered Practical Nurse to join our Health & Wellness Team.* This individual enjoys working with seniors, is compassionate, can manage competing priorities and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is confident in their nursing skills, thinks critically, takes initiative and can work both independently and collaboratively. This position oversees 25 residents on our nursing home floor.

*Here is what else you?ll do on shift:*
* Provide nursing care to residents who require assistance with medical administration and wound care * Assist with medical emergencies * Effectively use nursing process ? assess, plan, implement and evaluate * Identify plan and provide care for individual residents * Perform basic nursing skills as listed in Standards of Practice * Implement the person-centred care plan with prescribed medical regime * Communicate (ongoing) with families/support systems to ensure resident needs are being met * Respect autonomy and individual choice of the resident * Maintain good relationships with multidisciplinary team, families and with the public * Use leadership skills in a systematic approach to identify problems and solve them * Provide effective support and supervision of PSW?s

* Has experience working with seniors in a retirement setting or clinical setting * Possesses excellent communication skills, verbal and written * Has qualities of empathy, kindness, integrity, responsibility and understanding * Is able to work independently and collaboratively within a team, be resourceful, and demonstrate flexibility * Has experience with Yardi
*Mandatory requirements:*
* Diploma from an accredited school of nursing and Current registration with CNO * Minimum availability of two shifts per week * Cleared Vulnerable Sector Police Check * Two-Step Tuberculosis (TB) Skin Test * Completion of online mandatory training modules
*Schedule:*
* *Day Shift: 7am-3pm* - 30 hours bi-weekly including every second weekend * *Evening Shift: 3pm-11pm* - 30 hours bi-weekly including every second weekend
