*WHO WE ARE:*
The Union Club of British Columbia is a private-members club in Victoria, With 22 luxury guest rooms and large function spaces, the Club is host to regular exclusive events for members and the general public.
*POSITION SUMMARY:*
Performs routine duties in cleaning and servicing of guest rooms and public spaces. A Housekeeping Attendant will promote a positive image of the Club to Members/Guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and should also able to address guest requests and problems.
*DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Enters and prepares the room for cleaning * Cleans guest bathroom/bedroom/floor corridor * Makes beds * Dusts the room and furniture * Vacuums guest rooms and common spaces * Replenish amenities * Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests e.g. cots and baby cribs * Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests * Perform rotation cleaning duties (e.g. steam clean carpets, spring cleaning, etc.) as required * Cleans the public bathrooms and fitness centre * Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of their work area * Attends to guest calls, guest requests/guest complaints in the area assigned to them * Responsible for following the standard operating procedures * Responsible for achieving and exceeding the guest satisfaction score
*PREREQUISITES: *Only interviewingcanidates that are currently living in the area. *Education:* A secondary school diploma is preferred. Physical mobility and stamina are required. Ability to follow instruction, detail-oriented, professional attitude, ability to work independently. *Physical:* Requires walking, kneeling, dusting in high places, repetitive motions, and regularly having to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. *Experience:* Previous hotel-related experience desired.

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
