*Position Summary:*
We are seeking a Forklift Operator who is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of powered industrial trucks to move, load, unload, and organize materials within the facility and yard. This role plays a critical part in maintaining workflow, supporting production, and ensuring accurate inventory handling.
*Qualifications & Skills*
* Previous forklift operating experience required * Valid forklift certification * Ability to lift heavy materials as required * Strong attention to detail and safety awareness * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Basic math and inventory skills * Strong communication skills
*Primary Responsibilities (but not limited to)*
* Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies and safety regulations * Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers * Move raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials throughout the facility * Stage materials for production and shipping * Perform daily forklift inspections and complete required checklists * Report mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately * Assist with inventory control, including scanning, labeling, and counting materials * Ensure proper stacking, storage, and rotation of products * Maintain clean and organized warehouse and yard areas * Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE * Support production teams as needed * Complete all other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management
