*The Opportunity*
The Ethier-Beamish Group of Companies is seeking an experienced, results-driven Construction Manager to lead day-to-day operations across the Algoma Region. This role owns the full scope of the region's Pits & Quarries, Crushing & Screening, and Small Construction operations, along with the sales, business development, and reporting activity that supports them. This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive wages, pension, and a comprehensive benefits package. This position reports directly to the Vice-President.
*Your Day-to-Day*
* Manage daily operations, scheduling, and crew/equipment allocation across multiple active pit, quarry, crushing, and screening sites in the Algoma Region * Oversee aggregate extraction, processing, crushing, and screening to meet production, quality, and safety targets * Ensure compliance with MNRF pit and quarry licensing, MTO regulations, OHSA requirements, and site environmental standards * Coordinate with logistics/dispatch, maintenance, and other regional managers to keep material movement and equipment uptime running efficiently * Estimate, quote, and manage small construction projects (site work, driveways, and related civil work) from initial client contact through completion and invoicing * Supervise, mentor, and develop site supervisors, equipment operators, and crew members * Build and maintain client relationships, identify new market opportunities, and respond to quotes, RFQs, and tenders * Participate in tendering, bidding, and contract negotiations for construction and material supply contracts * Maintain strong working relationships with municipal, provincial, and private-sector clients * Manage regional budgets, cost control, and profitability across all business lines * Prepare and present regular operational, production, and financial reports to the Vice-President and General Managers * Work evenings, weekends, and extended hours as required to meet operational and project demands * Travel to job sites across Northern Ontario, including occasional out-of-town assignments with overnight stays * Work in accordance with all internal, client and regulated health and safety policies, procedures and/or regulations, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) * Perform related duties as assigned by the Vice-President and General Managers.

*Required:*
* Minimum of five (5) years of experience in construction management, aggregate/quarry operations, or related heavy civil industries * Prior experience in Pits & Quarries and/or Crushing & Screening operations * Prior experience managing construction projects from estimation through completion * Valid G class Driver?s License * Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
*Considered an Asset:*
* Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field or equivalent industry experience * Surface Miner Common Core
*Skills & Abilities:*
* Successfully passed comprehensive pre-employment third party testing requirements (drug and alcohol testing and a Criminal Background Check (CPIC) and any other requirements they impose on contractors) * Proficient interpersonal communication skills and proven success with business development and client and stake holder relations * Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and reporting * Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple sites and priorities at once * Effective knowledge of MNRF pit licensing, MTO regulations, and OHSA requirements is an asset * Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction management/reporting software * Strong integrity, sound business judgment, and the ability to demonstrate initiative
