*Job Summary*
We are seeking a reliable, organized and mature Cook to join our dynamic food service team! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring order accuracy and getting orders out in a timely manner. This an evening/weekend position, 5 days a week.
*Responsibilities*
* Prepare and cook a wide range of menu items with precision and care, following established recipes and standards * Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment * Support food service operations by efficiently serving meals to guests, maintaining timely delivery during busy hours * Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment throughout your shift * Follow proper storage procedures for ingredients and leftovers to prevent contamination and waste * Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and uphold high-quality food standards
*Skills*
* Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or food service setting * Strong knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices * Excellent serving skills with the ability to engage positively with guests during meal service * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail * Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors * Prior experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
