*Responsibilities*
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including exams, cleanings, restorations, and orthodontic treatments. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, ensuring sterilization standards are met. Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote healthy habits. Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic, ensuring confidentiality and compliance. Support front desk operations by greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and handling administrative tasks as needed. Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to all safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for staff and patients.
*Requirements*
Previous experience in dental assisting or related healthcare roles is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. Knowledge of dental software platforms such as Abeldent or Epic is highly desirable.. Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry ensures accurate documentation and effective communication. Excellent organizational skills combined with a positive attitude are essential for thriving in this energetic team environment.
