About this role
Responsibilities: - Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner - Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately - Maintain a clean and organized checkout area - Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints - Promote and upsell products to customers - Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits - Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and monitoring stock levels - Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers
Qualifications: - Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is preferred - Basic math skills to handle cash transactions and provide accurate change - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members - Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
