We?re looking for a *Chef de Cuisine* who?s all about delivering *high-quality, consistent execution* in a *seasonally high-volume* kitchen. This isn?t a role for reinventing the wheel ? it?s about leading a well-run kitchen that delivers every time. Banquet and event experience is key, as we proudly serve our *Fairwinds Golf Club members* and host numerous *tournaments and private functions* throughout the year.

*The Role*
As Chef de Cuisine, you?re the captain of the kitchen ? running the back of house day to day and making sure every dish is prepared to spec. You?ll oversee a skilled team, manage prep and service, and ensure we deliver excellence, efficiency, and consistency on our established menu ? especially during peak service and banquet events.
*What You?ll Be Doing*
* Leading kitchen operations to ensure smooth, on-time service for lunch, dinner, and events * Delivering quality, consistency, and volume based on the set menu and company standards * Executing banquet service for tournaments, golf members, and special events year-round * Managing kitchen staff including scheduling, training, coaching, and performance * Monitoring food and labor costs to meet targets * Ensuring kitchen cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and Island Health compliance * Working closely with front-of-house management to ensure smooth communication and service * Overseeing ordering, inventory, and vendor relationships * Acting as point person for third-party services (e.g. equipment repair, pest control, sanitation)
*What We?re Looking For*
* *5+ years of kitchen leadership experience* in high-volume operations * Experience executing set menus with consistency and quality control * Banquet or large-scale event cooking experience is a *must* * Solid background in managing food and labor costs * Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a tight, efficient kitchen team * Ability to stay calm under pressure and lead service with confidence * Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
