*Job Title:* Hotel Housekeeper *Location:* TRU by Hilton, Yarmouth, NS *Job Type:* Part time *Reports To:* Housekeeping Supervisor / Executive Housekeeper
*Job Summary:*
The Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas of the hotel. This role ensures a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests in accordance with the hotel?s standards.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas following hotel procedures and standards. * Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities. * Dust, vacuum, mop floors, and remove trash in guest rooms and hallways. * Report any maintenance issues, damage, or lost and found items to the supervisor. * Restock housekeeping carts with supplies and linens as needed. * Follow safety and sanitation policies at all times. * Maintain confidentiality and security of guest information and property. * Assist with laundry duties if assigned. * Provide friendly and courteous service to guests when encountered.
*Qualifications:*
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is a plus but not required. * Strong attention to detail and time management skills. * Ability to work independently and in a team environment. * Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and lift up to 30 pounds. * Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and various shifts.
*Working Conditions:*
* Fast-paced hospitality environment. * Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods. * May involve exposure to cleaning chemicals.
