About this role
Danish Pastry House is seeking a dynamic and talented _*Nighttime Baker *_for our production facility in Mississauga. _*Shift will be Friday Saturday and Sunday starting at 5:30pm to 1:30am*_
This is a part-time nightshift position and successful candidates will be required to have weekend availability.
Responsibilities:
· Preparation of a variety of desserts, pastries and other baked goods for bakery cafes
· Follow company health and safety policies and processes
· Must maintain food quality and hygiene standards.
Skills and Experience
· Minimum 2 year?s experience scratch baking in a professional commercial bakery is mandatory
· Energetic with a positive work ethic
· Able to multi-task
· Reliable and able to work independently with confidence
· Able to work as a team under the Department Manager
· Must be able to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment
· Strong communication skill
· Able to read instructions and follow directions in English
· Strong organizational skills and time management skills
· Must be accountable for the quality and standard of products produced
· Able to pay attention to detail
-First Aid, WHMIS, Occupational Health and Safety familiarity
-Food handling certification
