Education: College/CEGEP. Work site environment: Noisy. Work setting: Urban area. Processing company. Manufacture. Tasks: Create manufacturing instructions. Repair and maintain machinery. Assist in inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects. Assist in the design of moulds, tools, dies, jigs and fixtures. Carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components and materials. Computer-aided design (CAD). Estimate costs and materials. Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings and specifications. Prepare standards and schedules. Supervise maintenance programs or operation of mechanical plants. Supervise, monitor and inspect mechanical installations and construction projects. Test machines and equipment. Computer and technology knowledge: Mastercam CAD/CAM. Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines. Employment terms options: Early morning. Evening. Shift. Flexible hours. Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years. Employment terms options: Morning.
