About this role

This position is 100% onsite; no remote or hybrid option is available at this time.

More Specific Duties Include:

• NC Program Maintenance: Review and make routine updates to Numerical Control (NC) programs for turbine engine components to reflect approved engineering changes and material specifications. Verify coordinate settings and assist in maintaining program accuracy.

• Tooling and Setup Support: Prepare and update setup sheets to ensure proper tool and insert selection in accordance with established specifications. Assist machinists with setup requirements as needed.

• Process and Inspection Support: Review manufacturing instructions and drawings to ensure required dimensions and gauges are identified. Assist in verifying measurements using standard inspection tools.

• Production Troubleshooting: Assist in identifying and resolving routine machining and equipment issues, including feeds and speeds, tooling sequence, and machine settings, following established guidelines.

• Documentation Support: Maintain production and engineering records, including updating drawings, work instructions, and process documentation.

• Production Coordination: Communicate with engineering and production personnel to ensure accurate and up-to-date manufacturing documentation.

• Process Support: Assist in implementing process adjustments directed by engineering, including setup changes and machining sequence updates.

• Automated Equipment Assistance: Support operation and basic troubleshooting of automated machining equipment and robotic material handling systems.

M - F 40 hrs./wk. 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent. Two or more years of engineering experience or engineering education in aerospace turbine engines. Two years of experience training and mentoring team members. Two years of experience NC Programming and Setup for aerospace turbine engines. Two years' experience using and calibrating measuring gages according to approved planning.
