Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
• Coordinate recruitment activities for local positions.
• Partner with hiring managers to define staffing needs and recruitment strategies.
• Manage candidate sourcing, interviewing, selection, and hiring processes.
• Coordinate pre-employment requirements and onboarding activities.
• Support workforce planning initiatives to ensure adequate staffing levels.
Employee Relations
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
• Support conflict resolution and workplace investigations when required.
• Promote a positive employee experience and healthy work environment.
• Advise managers on employee relations matters and corrective actions.
• Facilitate communication between employees and management.
Labor Law Compliance
• Ensure compliance with Venezuelan labor legislation and employment regulations.
• Support management in interpreting labor law requirements.
• Coordinate employment documentation and personnel records.
• Assist during labor inspections, audits, and governmental reporting processes.
• Monitor regulatory changes and recommend necessary policy updates.
Compensation & Benefits
• Coordinate payroll-related activities.
• Administer employee benefits programs in accordance with local practices and company policies.
• Support salary reviews, market benchmarking, and compensation analyses.
• Ensure accuracy of employee compensation records and benefits administration.
Performance Management & Talent Development
• Support performance appraisal processes and employee development initiatives.
• Assist managers in setting goals and performance expectations.
• Coordinate training programs and professional development activities.
• Promote succession planning and talent retention initiatives.
HR Administration
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
• Prepare employment contracts, amendments, and HR documentation.
• Generate HR reports and workforce analytics for management.
• Ensure proper filing and confidentiality of personnel information.
• Support internal and external audits.
Employee Engagement & Organizational Development
• Coordinate employee engagement and wellness programs.
• Support diversity, inclusion, and company culture initiatives.
• Organize employee communications and recognition programs.
• Help develop initiatives aimed at improving retention and employee satisfaction.
HR Support for Business Operations
• Partner with local leadership to support operational objectives.
• Provide HR guidance during organizational changes and business expansion activities.
• Support mobilization, expatriate administration, and workforce logistics when applicable.
• Coordinate with Regional and Global HR teams to implement corporate initiatives.
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
• Postgraduate studies in Human Resources Management or Labor Law are considered an advantage.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency is highly valued.
Requirements:
• Experience in the oil and gas sector will be considered a significant advantage.
• 7 years of experience focused on Human Resources.
• Preferably 3 years of experience in Leadership positions.
