About this role
We are hiring a Class A CDL Driver with local routes and daily home time. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, offering a competitive wage of $26.00 per hour.
In this role, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of trailers between local facilities while maintaining clear communication with dispatch. We're looking for a dependable professional who values safety, consistency, and great service.

DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Keep safety first through inspecting and notifying leaders of trucks and/or trailers that may need repair.
• Safely deliver trailers to assigned docks to be loaded and/or pull loaded trailers out of docks.
• Perform safety checks of brakes, steering, lights, and mirrors before each departure.
• Inspect trailers before and after loading, paying particular attention to areas affected by the process.
• Adhere to traffic safety regulations at all times and exercise caution in poor weather circumstances.
• Contribute to company data by honestly recording times of delivery and hours worked.
• Follow and maintain loading protocols, using chains and/or straps to secure cargo while in transit.
• Assist in loading/unloading cargo when the delivery site is understaffed while maintaining product quality.
• Use GPS to stay informed of route information and communicate with the transportation team.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid CDL A license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Two years of experience working as a CDL driver with no legal or safety incidents on record.
• Enthusiasm for our products and desire to deliver them safely and on time.
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow instructions and follow through on assigned tasks and responsibilities.
• Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and written.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• At least 2 years of recent, verifiable, tractor/trailer driving experience.
• No driving citations (DUI/DWI/Reckless), revoked, or suspended license in the past 5 years.
PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time and work in all types of environments, including inclement weather.
• Ability to repetitively twist or turn to drive in reverse; stand, climb, kneel, stoop and squat, as needed.
• Range of motion to get in and out of trucks and turn steering wheel requiring full rotation of arms and shoulders.
• Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uniforms provided by the company.
