About the job:

The Nursing Assistant is the heart of the clinical team, providing direct care and activities of daily living for our residents that they cannot do for themselves. You will be rewarded with smiles and gratitude from the residents you provide care to!

Essentials:

• Coordinates resident transfers and discharges.

• Completes assessments of residents as necessary for Care Planning, MDS, CAAS, PPS and other required documents.

• Develops Care Plans and attends Interdisciplinary Care Conferences for residents

• Develops and promotes the department through marketing efforts throughout the professional and social community.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent education required; Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related degree in social sciences preferred.

• Must be eighteen (18) years old or older at start date of employment.

• Ability to safely perform the essential functions of the job without harm to self or others.

• Ability to understand and follow work assignments.

• Ability to work as part of a team.

• Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping, in-servicing and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the long-term care setting.

• Licensed where applicable by the State
