Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Follows all company Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures such as LOTO, Hearing and Eye Protection etc.
• Safely and effectively operate assorted non-powered and powered hand tools; grinders, drills, drill-press, saws, etc. in accordance with manufacturer and company policies and procedures.
• Safely operate and maintain Forklifts, and Manlifts in accordance with manufacturer and company policies and procedures.
• Conducts basic maintenance tasks, such as changing filters, replacing belts, and lubricating machinery.
• Removes dust, dirt, grease, and waste material from machines that are not accessible by operators.
• Paints machines or equipment to prevent corrosion.
• Inspects equipment and machinery, gears, pulleys, wheels, chains, journals, sleeves, etc. for wear and tear.
• Cleans and lubricates machine parts such as shafts, pulleys, gears, and bearings.
• Patches or replaces plaster or plaster board and paints walls, ceilings, and trim of building.
• Clears clogged drains and replaces plumbing fixtures.
• Has a complete inventory of predetermined tools for job accomplishment.
• Cleans and maintains work area, tools, machinery and equipment.
• Performs equipment, and facilities preventative maintenance (PM) per schedule.
• Maintains, Logs, PM sheets, Pass-Down sheets and reports results to on-coming crew and Supervisor.
• Records machine operating parameters using pre-made charts.
• Participates in shift/equipment status communication meetings, ensuring oncoming and off going team understand what has occurred and expected for their team.
• Assists with Bending, cutting, threading pipe, and electrical conduit.
• Assists with diagnosing and troubleshooting problems with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Assists with machine or equipment level and alignment inspections at predetermined checkpoints.
• Assists with machines or equipment breakdowns, replacing defective mechanical and electrical parts.
• Attends training programs, classes, seminars for job skill and knowledge development.

Qualifications
High school diploma; Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; Familiarity with hand and power tools. Good communication skills, ability to work in a team environment. Willingness to learn and take on new tasks. Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, and holidays if necessary.
6 months to 1-year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
