About this role
What You'll Do:
Looking to break into the restaurant business? The Busser is the perfect entry-level opportunity for you to gain experience. Every service team needs a capable assistant to have their back!
Here are a few of the tasks you can expect to complete regularly:
• Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave.
• Carry dirty dishes, glasses, and silverware to the dishwashing area.
• Wipe and reset tables with clean plates, utensils, napkins, and condiments.
• Assist servers with delivering food and beverages when needed.
• Refill water and other table items.
• Keep dining areas, service stations, and floors clean and organized.
• Help restock dishes, glassware, and supplies.
• Assist with opening and closing restaurant duties.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety procedures.
• Provide friendly and helpful service to guests and support the restaurant team.
Where You've Been:
We're looking for someone with a high school diploma or equivalent. While previous bartending experience is a plus, it is not required. What we really want is someone capable of thinking on their feet and able to keep up in high-pressure situations. If that sounds like you, go ahead and apply.
When You're Here:
This probably goes without saying but you'll be on your feet a lot. There will be occasions when you may be carrying/lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending/twisting, climbing stairs and more. You also must be able to accommodate varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays. But wait, there's a great upside: in exchange for your flexibility, we offer excellent pay, hotel discounts, F&B discounts and the opportunity to be part of an anything-but-standard growing hotel company.
