About this role
Essential Functions:
• Preventative Maintenance planning and execution
• Unplanned event response
• Direct supervision and planning of the Shift maintenance team
• Direct supervision and planning of the Daycrew Pool maintenance team
• Part management and availability
• Vendor management
• Contractor management as needed
• Ensure employees are provided appropriate recognition, guidance, and counseling on matters related to job performance and absenteeism.
• Maintain constructive and candid relationships by addressing opportunities in a timely manner.
• On shift review of critical equipment areas that service the entire plant. Implement the maintenance safety program segments.
• Ensure 5s standards in the maintenance area.
• To instigate studies and actions to overcome technical downtime problems, to reduce waste and improve team performance.
• To monitor, together with team members, process performance in order to identify areas for improvement, coordinating corrective actions as necessary.
• To instigate studies and actions to improve the efficiency of the plants building service area.
• To assist in the commissioning of new plant and equipment and other systems to ensure that the introduction into the production facility is handled efficiently and within minimum disruption.

• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications Required:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent Experience
• Excellent communication & human relation skills. Also well-developed interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving skills. The ability to effectively interact with all levels.
• 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing facility
• 3-5 years supervisory experience.
• Strong computer skills
• Must be analytical and detail oriented.
• Must be able to work independently and past experience should demonstrate achievements supporting a results-oriented focus and use of leadership skills.
Qualifications Desired:
• 1-3 years glass manufacturing experience
• AutoCAD
• Previous supervisory experience
• Self-motivated individual
• Must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure.
