Typical projects include process improvement projects, related to improving yield, reducing waste, gather, organize, and analyze data to understand current-state performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and business leaders to understand business needs and develop effective solutions. Evaluate and improve core processes, ways of working, and day-to-day operational activities.
As an intern you can expect to gain valuable experience and insight into the workings of food manufacturing environment. At conclusion of Internship, you are expected to prepare a final presentation on the results of your assigned project(s) and will present your findings to members of the corporate management team.
Must be currently enrolled in school.

Compensation/Benefits
The hourly range for this role is $22.00. Offers are typically made between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on skills, experience, and internal equity. In rare cases, highly qualified candidates may receive an offer above the midpoint; however, offers at the maximum of the range are not customary. The salary range posted represents the low and high end of OSI's salary range for this position. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, experience, and performance. Base salary is one component of OSI's overall total rewards package. Other components may include bonuses, special pay programs, comprehensive time off, 401k with match, and a full suite of benefit offerings for you and your family.
Work is generally performed within a manufacturing environment subjected to temperatures of cold and warm along with wearing the proper PPE, with standard office equipment available along with plant manufacturing environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, bend, walk, use hands or finger, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, or controls; may be required to lift up to 50 pounds. Vision abilities include close vision to a computer screen.
