About this role
Title: Manager, Talent
Reports to: Vice President, HR
Location: Los Angeles, CA, 3 days/week
FLSA Status: Exempt
LG Household & Health Care (H&H) US is growing fast and we're looking for a Talent Manager to help fuel that momentum. This is more than a recruiting role; it's a chance to build the talent function as we scale, standing up processes and pipelines from the ground up rather than inheriting a playbook. You'll lead full-cycle recruiting across our organization, driving hiring across three entities and teams primarily based in Los Angeles and New York. You'll be a critical partner to hiring managers and HR business partners, building talent pipelines that power our next chapter of growth, delivering a candidate experience people rave about, and championing hiring practices that bring LG H&H US's values to life. If you're an entrepreneurial self-starter who's energized by scale, loves building things from zero to one, and wants your fingerprints on the team shaping our future, this is your seat at the table.
Responsibilities:
· Manage the end-to-end recruiting lifecycle; intake, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and closing for roles across LG H&H US
· Design and build recruiting processes, workflows, and pipelines from scratch where none exist today, creating scalable systems rather than relying on legacy playbooks
· Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, team dynamics, and business priorities, translating them into effective sourcing and interview strategies
· Proactively build and maintain talent pipelines through creative sourcing, employee referrals, agency partnerships, and market research
· Serve as a talent ambassador for LG H&H US, ensuring a consistent, positive candidate experience from first touch through onboarding
· Guide hiring managers and interview panels on structured interviewing, unconscious bias mitigation, and best practices for evaluation
· Manage requisitions and candidate data within the ATS, ensuring accuracy and compliance across entities
· Track and report on key recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, source of hire, pipeline health, offer acceptance rate) across each entity
· Coordinate offer approvals, compensation benchmarking, and negotiations in partnership with HR team
· Ensure recruiting practices comply with applicable employment laws and internal policies across all three entities
· Support employer branding initiatives, including job postings, career site content, LinkedIn pages, and participation in recruiting events/job fairs
· Take ownership of process and tooling gaps; identify what's missing, propose solutions, and implement them independently to help us hire faster and smarter as the business scales
· Perform additional duties and projects as needed
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
· 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally supporting multiple business units, entities, or brands simultaneously across multiple sites and states
· Experience recruiting across a range of functions (e.g., corporate, marketing, sales, R&D, supply chain) is a plus
· Strong sourcing skills across platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, etc.)
· Excellent stakeholder management skills; comfortable advising and influencing hiring managers at various levels
· Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English. You will need to confidently assess candidates' language skills for roles across the organization that require bilingual fluency
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with ATS platforms within HRIS (e.g., UKG Pro, Rippling, BambooHR) and strong data/reporting fluency
· Knowledge of employment law and compliance considerations relevant to US-based hiring
· Highly organized with the ability to manage a high-volume, multi-entity requisition load simultaneously
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; consumer products or beauty/personal care industry experience a plus
